The Ottoman Palace is situated in Adrasan, also known as Cavus Bay. This is an idyllic bay far from the mayhem of mass tourism and over development. Adrasan is the chill out capital of this region, known in ancient times as Lycia. Lycia, which is to the west of Antalya is a mountainous region, home to the Toros mountains, with peaks reaching over 2,400m (7,000ft) high. Lycia is a green and fertile land and has many large rivers as well as innumerable smaller streams. You may be surprised to learn that this area, as well as Turkey generally, is a major exporter of water to the middle east. This combination of high and rugged mountains, plentiful water, crystal clear seas combine to crate a physical geography that is designer made for fun, sports and activities. What's more the name Lycia come from ancient times and the whole area is littered with historical remains. Many of our activities are based in and around these areas, so you get a good dose of fun, history and culture, all in one trip. No matter how rugged or tranquil you like you sports and activities we have plenty to offer you to help make your stay in Turkey special and memorable. Take a look at the list of activities below or take a tour of the activity reviews to find more specific information, prices and locations. |
