K E M E R   -   SHOPPING, NIGHT LIFE, WATERPARK

Kemer is the nearest major tourist centre, in fact it has now become part of a chain of towns that were previously local villages but that have now become part of an amorphous blob dedicated primarily to mass tourism.

There is now a water-park and dolphin-park situated near the marina. A great opportunity for family photos and fun.

Having said all that, Kemer does have a very large market on Mondays with lots of tourist type products such as branded clothes, souvenirs, spices and the like. You will have to bargain hard to get a bargain but prices are still a lot cheaper than the UK.

Kemer also has a large number of shops and offers a massive choice of Gold, Silver and Leather Goods. There are also some nice clothes shops.

At night Kemer is quite lively and there are some nice up-market restaurants and some dancing bars and sophisticated discos.
