Walk Overview / Highlights - From Pirates Bay via Tower Valley to the Hotel This is a gentle walk that starts at the delightful Pirates Bay, where there are remains of the old fortifications and a temple that looks out over the sea. The initial part of the walk is through shade dappled forest along Cape Gelidonya, leading to a steady climb to a saddle above the village of Karaoz. This is a generally shady section with wonderful views across the bay, to the mountains behind Kumluca and Finike. From the saddle the route heads into a valley and passes through farmland and orchards. Here goats wander freely accompanied by their shepherds. Soon the route takes you onto a meandering G2 goat track that descends down the side of the valley to meet a tractor trail that leads to a small hamlet of stone cottages. From here the path leads through the agricultural part of Adrasan to the river that enters Adrasan bay to the North. Here you will find restaurants with tables on pontoons in the river, ideal to cool and soak you walk weary feat before continuing on along Adrasan beach to your hotel.
